Update on Jack.

Josh just loves the beach. This is a pic taken of Justine and Melissa on their recent trip to Port Douglas with the boys. Port Douglas is about l hour north of Cairns.

Well its now 12 days since Jacks surgery - he had the stitches out on Saturday. He is eating like its his last meal and has gained a little weight back - he actually looks really well, but Justine says not to get my hopes too high, just take it a day at a time. He is even joining in play with Yogi and Lily and playing with his sqeeker toy he hasn't touched for months. He is happy, that is all that counts.

ANZAC day was a very quiet one. Jus and I had intended to get together to scrap, but she lost her part Siamese cat the night before (run over) so we were all a bit too upset. Saturday Jus worked and I had Josh, we baked Anzac bikkies and a Jam slice and they both came to my house for dinner. Josh loves to cook. When asked did he want to be a cook when he grew up - he said he wanted to be a cook, an artist (he also loves drawing) and a veterinarian. He's going to have a very interesting life.

Melissa, Alan and the boys went off camping for the long weekend break, they are due back today. They went off to O'Briens creek, about 3 1/2 hours drive west of Cairns - lots of gemstones are found in this area, so it will be interesting to hear if they found any.
