TASMAN CRUISE.

Well, finally here I am to continue with our trip, has been quite a while.
We were up before daylight (bloody daylight saving), had to be at the Tasman cruise terminal to leave by bus at 7.30am to travel to 'Eaglehawk neck' which is where the little yellow boats depart from.  When we boarded we donned head to toe red waterproof parkas,  and were informed by Damo and Ollie that the cruise on the previous day had been very rough and a lot of the passengers had been very sick, so we were given ginger tabs (Justine had already taken medication, but decided to do the double whammy), but once underway my fear abated and it was the most exiting, exhilerating trip I've  experienced in a long time.  I forgot to mention that the cruise included morning tea at Taylors Restaurant (chocolate chip muffins and coffee) so we were all hoping that they stayed in our stomachs.  There were around 60 passengers and two crew (Damo and Ollie were the ultimate hosts, nothing was a problem).  The trip itself is just so beautiful, the cliffs, blow holes, birds, seals and the dolphins came right up to the boat.  I think I took around 150 photos, but yes you guessed it, Joshua was the only one to get the whole animal out of the water.  The phots following are just some of my favourites.
The swell on this day was around 6 metres, so got very exciting when they headed the boat directly into it, it was rather like going up in a lift and then being thrown out of same to drop into the abyss.
A most amazing day.  Next entry will be our trip later on this day to the 'Port Arthur' Penal settlement.
